I am Esme, a cellist, music therapist, music educator and actor musician. I have had a rich portfolio career as a teacher and therapist, with the privilege of working with children and adults ranging from 4 weeks old to 105 years old, in schools, hospices and mental health trusts. I also run a community choir. I have balanced that with performing with orchestras, chamber groups and bands as a cellist and vocalist; on stage as an actor musician, on screen in commercials and film, and in the recording studio as a session musician and voice over artist.

I am passionate about using music to bring people together and to support mental health and resilience whether that is through teaching, leading a community choir or music therapy.
